Adventum Album Covers Project
Nolan Winters a landscape photographer and music production enthusiast from Toronto, Canada set about having some album cover work produced for his new series music scores, using the sounds of nature on his travels. Nolans work focuses on capturing epic and dramatic landscapes, using strong impactful colours as part of his photographic style. Since 2011 Nolans has been collating audio samples from his epic photographic journeys to now produce his five part album series Adventum.
The main drive for this project is bring back the lost sounds of nature and Nolan wanted to name his album Adventum which is Latin for "To Arrive"
I wanted Nolan's photography to be the star of his album covers but I also wanted some graphic icon or symbol to bring them together as a collection. I did this by using shapes to symbolise diffrent aspects of geography and the landscapes that Nolan visited.

Adventum Special Edition Gradient Versions
In addition to Nolans photographic album covers I produced some gradient covers using the colours from his images and added some appropriate texture based on the theme of the album. These would serve as his limited edition covers which could be found on his online website.
